Have you used elastic thread before? I used this tutorial to walk me through it :http://portabellopixie.typepad.com/portabellopixie/files/full_shir_madness_tutorial.pdf

Try that and I think it should work!Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14975330597038720146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2595333255126766794.post-87560512854145598842010-02-15T15:15:28.254-05:002010-02-15T15:15:28.254-05:00Thanks for the information. I tried it but it didn't gather very well. Granted my t-shirt is different. It's this http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Feature_Assortment/instantgratificationunder100/knits/PRDOVR~13620/13620.jsp But I was wondering, if it is a straight stitch or a zigzag.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01804383972132475456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2595333255126766794.post-6650089632900667042010-02-07T23:02:30.631-05:002010-02-07T23:02:30.631-05:00Mychaelyn,

It's cheap and you simply just wrap it around the bobbin (make sure it's not stretched at all) and sew normally, being sure to reverse really well in the beginning and end to secure the elastic. Let me know if you have any other questions.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14975330597038720146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2595333255126766794.post-59990677607131688282010-02-07T20:48:29.745-05:002010-02-07T20:48:29.745-05:00I love this technique. Can you tell me what type of elastic thread you used? And what stitch? I am just a beginner with sewing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01804383972132475456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2595333255126766794.post-59360645732817391372010-01-30T14:15:25.614-05:002010-01-30T14:15:25.614-05:00That turned out super cute, I love it!
